Session 10/11 - A deeper dive into the depths!
So I was a little out of it, the last little while but this rush of adrenaline, when my plant friend yelled run, has got my body reinvigorated and awake! (We started in a room with 3 pillars, and a drop off of about 10 feet!)
The dark elf ran into the giant cavern and we sat at the entrance for about 20 minutes, we started walking down the tunnel and then we heard a bunch of footsteps. Plant boy summoned an earth elemental and then shouted run because he saw about 20 dudes after us!
We plotted a quick ambush for the upcoming orcs! We managed to surprise them and got into the frey! We then destroyed them quite badly!
We very quickly looted their bodies, the 2 elite members had 2 x +1 Armor potency runes so we took those.
We then ran down the hallway to attempt to save our friend! This room had a lot of maze-like pathways!
I picked up a "cool" mask! It would be used in masquerading! It is just the dark elves mask, so I resistantly give it back!
We are told by our dark elf friend that He killed 2 Orc War Cheifs, somehow by some miracle! He gained some gold for himself and saw a place that has a curtain and stuff.
We have only been inground for about 2 days now but it has been a really busy 2 days so that's pretty sweet!
We then discussed who should get the Armor potency runes!
We then got to an Orc War camp!
We then went into camp and explored for a little bit what happened after that was a yell from Castien saying get over here because there was a war chief. That war chiefs name seemed to be Urak! This war chief had a giant glowing gem that was orange!
I got turned into a giant which is crazy cool! I did not see that coming! After getting used to finally being a giant I was able to land the killing blows to Urak the Warlord! I hit him with some solid punches that knocked him down and out. He turned to stone and the gem he seemed to be using dropped to the ground!
