Journal entry
I was born in the depths of Dragon's crown young writer, and it was here I saw the atrocities of my people. Lacking any true capability at court, I was nothing more than a commoner, a short one at that. My mother was a kobold, my father a dragonkin of decent rank, but we were poor and without title in truth. When the wars would come and the dragons would descend upon the land, I would earn my living through killing those who were as weak or weaker than myself. Hunting and stalking the battlefield, though in truth the only kill I remember is a single young officer, a man by the name of Xar'wyct. A small battle had broken out within our unit, and here I would taste my first nobleman. A young dragon noble upstart who had no business on the battlefield, but he was a dragon, and I couldn't face him at the time. Though his time would come. Alone on the field of battle my anger finally caught up to me and I feasted upon the nobleman. When my head cleared, the world saw me as stronger and one of the greats, now I will show them the truth of what a commoner can do. What nobles will deserve, and oh I will taste the strong....
Alignment
Neutral Evil, a person who loved intrigue and doing what was necessary to allow his plans to bear fruit. Aleithnyadnar is well known for his uncaring and cool mindset, though a strange darkness sits behind his eyes as he is noted for spending many hours within the dungeons of Adventurer's Beginning.
Notable Deeds
Gathering and contracting of all the gemstone dragons of Drafika.
Religion
None, as to follow a god would be to accept nobility into one's heart as righteous outright. Those born of noble blood claim to be gods themselves, and thus the gods must be evil. Though I will not force my views on others, I will not tolerate those who attempt to convert or change my mind on this matter.
Physical Traits
Known to be forty-two feet tall and weighing nearly a hundred and twenty-five tons, the small black scales on the ancient obsidian dragon are said to give him a natural immunity to piercing and slashing weapons. With bright red eyes full of mystery and intrigue, it is said that the many scars across Aleithnyadnar come from his own doing.
Notable Comrades
None, while a few had joined me in my youth as a soldier. Mostly I would spend my time hunting down and gaining vengeance. Never forgetting those that betrayed the army, and allowed Gregsmaratam to slay so many.
Notable Rivals
Gregsmaratam for his killing of the sister and brother of Aleithnyadnar when the conquest of Drafika began. Rumors state that Gregsmaratam used magic that would bring those who were even the most unwilling to his side without question. It was during such a time as a horde of dragons would rush the hunting grounds to the south. And it was there that Gregsmaratam would watch his army slaughtered and be forced to retreat back behind the godly creature's boundary. During this battle Gregsmaratam would use Aleithnyadnar's sister and brother as distractions to escape an incoming goliath who had worked his way through the army to meet him.
Organizations
The Gemstone Court, a collection of every gemstone dragon not affiliated with another dragon lord. This council sits the strongest amongst their ranks through merit and combat ability. It is said that the council decides daily on the betterment of its species treatment, though most know it to be a group of old bickering dragons.
Notable Items
The Dagger of Loss, a dagger said to have been bought from a powerful storm giant clan after they fell on hard times. The dagger is said to steal or destroy the memories of those it strikes, causing many to go from outright rageful hatred to kind and courtious after an unfortunate mistake. The dagger itself seems unimpressive from afar, but in the right hands can lead to even a commoner rising to power and prominance.
Ambition
To see the world bend the knee to a commoner.
