Mr. Torgue is a merchant that eventually failed an picked up adventuring as his weapons were deemed to dangerous. He sold his stake in the company and started adventuring.

Mr. Torgue, was raised by his grandmother (Grandma Flexington) after his parents were killed in an explosion in a mine, sparking his resolution to master the power of explosions. With facial hair and pectoral muscles at a very young age, Torgue was shy around girls in school and was made fun of for being different. Mr. Torgue's first explosive weapon (simply a club with a powder keg attached to the end) nearly killed him, and after several dozen tests, he finally succeeded in creating his first functioning weapon. He would later sell his designs and company to the Torgue board of executives for 12gp and a high-five after the weapons failed to sell for "safety concerns" from typical adventurers. He maintained a position at Torgue purely for "PR reasons" and his job is solely to be the face of the Torgue company.
 
Soon after starting adventuring, Mr. Torgue starting to have weird chaotic magics spring forth from him during battle. With some practice, he was able to harness this wild magic into different forms of explosions (and sometimes other chaotic effects).
 
Mr. Torgue enjoys "Bunkers & Badasses", and treasures his time with the adventurers deeply. He views them as his only true friends.
