Personal history

Born in her family’s caravan on a stormy night, Nynaveve was the eighth child, from an eighth child. Meaning she had a lot of family and from a very young age was sick of people.


Growing up in a traveling changing community, with her seven brothers and sprawling family everywhere, she often sought out peace and quiet. Generally the family would stay together, all spread out in their caravans, traveling throughout the countryside selling their skills to any villages they passed.

Nyn’s family were well known wood and leather workers and mostly welcomed in by the villages. Traveling folk weren’t always trusted, especially a race of changelings but Nyn’s family had been doing the same routes for years now and had developed a strong customer base. They were well used to blending in and knew to hide their more prominent changeling features before entering in any town or village. 

Education

Nyn is well educated in many different things from her childhood of traveling. Her changeling parents picked up many skills to pass onto her, including different languages and her wood and leather worker personas.

Employment

Self-employed. Will use her skills in wood and leather working if she needs to make some coin.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Currently 18 years old and not long left home, no not much to say yet.

Failures & Embarrassments

Anytime her ‘hard shell’ cracks and she cannot upkeep her broody personal, she gets embarrassed. Doesn’t believe in failures, just things they are steps in getting it right. Far too stubborn to accept failure.

Mental Trauma

None really, to Nyn’s shame. A good mental trauma would work so well with her aesthetic.

Wealth & Financial state

Having a large family and being travelers, Nyn didn’t come from wealth. Nor did she really have to want for anything, so money doesn’t concern her. As long as she has food in her belly and is able to travel, she is happy.

Family Ties

Much to Nyn’s embarrassment, she has a warm, loving and supportive family that don’t match her brooding aesthetic. Stuffed at the bottom of her backpack, alongside letters sealed with kisses, were homemade jumpers sent by her parents. Only when Nyn knew the coast was clear and no one could be a witness to her softer side, she would put her jumper on and read her letters from home. Once it was rumoured that tears were shed while doing so, but Nyn would deny this aggressively.

Religious Views

Nyn’s family had followed the path of the Traveler, believing that chaos and change were important aspects of life...and theirs had been full of that while on the road.

Nyn is all about the aesthetic. Gods work with that. Even from a young age she loved learning about god and studying any artwork she could find.

Social Aptitude

Generally doesn’t like interacting with people, or would prefer to keep away from them. Tends no be straight to the point and can’t be doing with hanging around.

Can seem quiet, but is generally trying to act broody and above it all.

Hobbies & Pets

She has started collecting bones, thinking about an arts n’ crafts project. Or perhaps some nice decorations for when she gets a house. Bones, candles...just needs a nice stuffed Raven and the goth aesthetic study nook is complete.
