Ekendi had been a successful racer in underground jetbike tournaments, later winning the interstellar recognized Tritopal Race on Haathor.

Mental Trauma

Ekendi's adopted brother Sylwester possesses sociopathic tendencies and manipulated her into making many decisions that negatively affected her mental state. In combination with the loss of her birth parents this manifests as abandonment issues, a negative self-image, and depression.

Ekendi was raised by her father on spacefaring vessels. When she was 7 the spaceliner her father worked on was taken by pirates and her father was killed during the resulting hostage situation. During that time she was taken in by the at the time prestigious Nyss family to whom the spaceliner belonged. After the incident she was adopted by the Nyss family and was raised as their daughter.
