Physical Description

Azure sports a very thin and agile body, perfect for running at subsonic speed. She has a small torso and long limbs. Her feet and head are large. Azure has two conical ears on top of her head, both of their interiors coated with thin peach fuzz.

Azure has long limbs, sharp quills, a thin coat of fur, and a large head, hands, and feet.

Facial Features

Azu's face is mostly covered by her two huge conjoined eyes. It is a little strange at first sight; probably seeming like she has one eyeball with two pupils. It is, in fact, two eyeballs but joined closely together. Her muzzle is directly beneath her eyes, covered in a very soft fuzzy coat of peach coloured fur. Her nose is long and shaped like a stretched-out teardrop. She has a wide mouth with thin lips, that are most often wearing a smug grin.

Azure is identified by her deep blue fur and long quills.

Physical quirks

Azure likes to dance, especially breakdancing and other exotic poses. She also likes acrobatics and physical activities of the sort.

Apparel & Accessories

She wears a scarlet one-piece catsuit. It goes from her bust to her thighs. The catsuit has a hole in its middle exposing her belly and an exposed portion on the top for her breasts. Around her waist is a golden belt. She wears white gloves on her hands. Azure's most recognized piece of clothing are her red, white, and gold running sneakers. These have been heavily modified to withstand the pressure and heat of running at subsonic speed for extended periods of time.

Special abilities

Azure has been gifted with enhanced acceleration abilities. Since she does not train herself as much as she should, her speed has been dampened a bit since its acquirement. Her top speed is currently a few notches below Mach 1. Despite her unwillingness to train, she does make attempts to hone her skills in other ways, such as combat and agility.

Personal history

Azure Lilac Hedgehog was born on 2nd December 2104, to a large family of four-toed hedgehogs.
 
She and her ten brothers and five sisters all lived inside a relatively small apartment in a suburb of West Side City. Her being the exact middle child, Azure didn't receive much attention from her parents. For the first few years of her childhood, Azure was treated like any normal child should. But with the arrival of her little brothers and sisters, she was cast to the wayside in a sense.
 
During her late elementary school and middle school years, Azure mostly kept to herself. It wasn't until her first year of high school that she made her first true friend. On the first day of the first year of high school, Azure met a transgirl fox named Miley. They hit it off almost immediately, with Miley's outgoing personality and extrovertedness rubbing off on Azure, making her more inclined to take down the figurative walls she'd built around herself.
 
It was around the time of mid-ninth grade that the accident occurred. During a field trip to the National Laboratory of Unusual Sciences, a recently-discovered Chaos Emerald had a catastrophic reaction to a nearby Timestone. This caused a wave of potent Chaos energy to blast outward and inundate the entire area. Due to a series of incredibly lucky events and precise body positions, a reaction was caused in Azure's cells, making them go into overdrive.
 
At that moment, the only thing she felt was constant static all over her body. It was like a million tiny bugs crawling on her body 24/7. But soon, she discovered her new ability of enhanced acceleration. Instead of being jealous of her, Miley was happy for Azure. She had found, in her eyes, yet another cool thing about her new friend. Azu kept this ability secret for the first year of her having it; only Miley knew.
 
Through the occurrence of a few unfortunate events, Azure found out that normal clothes couldn't exactly withstand the stresses of moving at subsonic speed for over five seconds at a time. The first time she tried it, she returned from her run with nothing but underwear, much to her embarrassment. Luckily, Miley was knowledgeable about the effects of aerodynamics at high speeds on clothing from her father, who was a scientist at the ISAJPL. So she fashioned Azure a set of stylish running sneakers and a comfortable one-piece catsuit to run in. Naturally, Azure was very grateful for this gesture, and she wears this outfit on all her runs to this day.
 
Fast forward a few years, and Azure and Miley had known each other for six whole years by this time. It was the final year of high school, the last stretch. A few months before the end of the school year, however, something happened that would change Azu's life. In her typical awkward way, Miley confessed her love for Azure, much to the surprise and delight of the hedgehog. To this day, the both of them are in a loving relationship together.

Azure's biggest personal accomplishment was finally proving her worth to everyone she knew by being unique.

Her biggest regret is not standing up for herself when she was younger. If she had, maybe she would have been more open with herself and other people, and perhaps, her dream of having a friend might have come true much sooner.
