Background

This is a version of Captain Meklan/Grognard that is from Toril. It seems that version of him created this to house some of his knowledge, and somehow it was put in a prison guarded by a Yuan-ti Anathema. He said it was because he held knowledge that a deity or some power wanted to not get out...

The party originally met him, sans Bastion, in Session 48: Unexpected Side Mission in Toril Report when they freed him from a chest. It seems he found his way to Captain Meklan who put him in the grave of Viggie Storr so the party would find him as his information can be important to them. This occured in Session 61: Back to the Crypt, Again Report.
