Dawn is what we could call an unexpected result from a incubus work.
When her human mother gave birth, she couldn't stand that devilish child, but coudn't kill it either, so she just left her at her on luck.
Dawn didn't have anything, not even a name, she survived due pitty and kindness of some people.
Everything changed when a priest from a far away temple walks through the streets and he see on that nameless, grey skined, horned girl an angel.
he took her to his temple, there she was treated with respect, something that she never been before and recived a proper name.
During the next couple of years she learned about her true nature, she was bound with the divines. She studied to one day went on a journey to bring people guidance.
After her journey started one thing quickly became clear: in a world where demons and devils are hated/feared no one seeks guidance from someone with an infernal lineage.
During all those years she prepared herself for her destiny, she wouldn't give up.
She tried everything to disguise herself from using cloacks to almost sawn her own horns (she give up becuse was really painfull)
whenever she tries to brings guidance or enlightenment people think it was a curse or something, they usualy throw words, rocks and often weapons.
The once proud acolite now hides on her cloack, the once pure girl now is full of hatred and curses her on existence.
