Young Anders Solmor recently inherited his family's fleet of fishing boats after the untimely death of his mother, , and as an important member of the town community has found himself on the Saltmarsh Town Council.
Though considered by some to be brash and inexperienced, since Anders owns both a fishing fleet and several trading vessels, he can sell his catch at a highly competitive price. And he can offer better prices for the other fishers in town to sell to him, since his catch brings in so much more profit. He has therefore proven himself to actually be a very successful young businessman.
Anders seems to have a good heart, and regularly speaks out against the practise of slavery and smuggling, saying that freedom is the root of all happiness. He is also know to pay his employees well.
