Part-timers of Murkow

05:08 pm - 28.08.2025No tags this time, I secretly hope no-one actually recovers this passage, even writing it, I feel the urge to rip out the paper and bury it in the garden. I guess I should explain myself. Two days ago, at the suggestion from one of the faculty professors I've come to respect, I signed up for a class trip to the historical Karloff ruins, while i have no personal interest in the ruins or the history thereof myself, professor Hemmingway impressed it upon me that i might find answers or even questions there. He didn't tell me of what i might be in search of, only that such a place of lingering power would hold that which would conjure a Truth, "that even if I only found one truth, it would be the truest truth and more would reveal itself". I wondered then if speaking in riddles was a requirement for our faculty, but i think now, he was in his own way trying to prepare me. We arrived in Karloff by means that require no mention, but the city itself fits its name, straight, harsh and solid. the people were people and the food was food. The warning came in the clouds first, the journey up to the ruins were clouded in darkness, clouds briming with a promise of destruction, the very nature itself is brimming with magic, like a whirlpool surrounding the castle. they say its a ruin, but i daresay- it could only be a tale of the eye. The further i went the more i felt the cold in my heart, the fear, the very weave, my eternal companion, the guiding rhytm that beats in time with my very heart turns cold. Like a dip in gravity, a pit in my stomach, the heatbeat of magic itself slows down, becomes dark, mechanical. churning out magik like a hammer striking an anvil. One wave after the other a drop of water slowly working its way to overfill my cup. I remember little of it, there was people talking, i focused on keeping my face straight, trying not to let slip what hides behind the curtain. suddently i find myself undergound, we're making our way trough a cave when suddently the everything changes. A great cavern where existence itself feels inverted. We find objects lost to time and buried beneath petrified rock. A great statue and four mirrors make up the signature of the space, at the base of the statue, theres a void, the sweat on my neck turns to ice, "i know that shape, those haunting eyes..." and SUDDENTLY they're upon us. undead? vampires? zombies? people? "did i just imagine them?" my mind goes blank and suddently im in the air. I'm holding gravity from beating with the mucles of my very heart. and yet, the gravity around me has been magnified. i float in the centre of my very own ying/yang. And there she is, Porcha- the person that never seizes to suprise me "if i learn anything from this experience its to never underestimate that girl" pops out of a mirror holding the very devise that has been haunting my dreams. ... i think thats all ill be willing to share here, should anyone find this, know that the room has been destroyed, and the device along with it. Don't go there, don't go looking, the vail of the curtains is thin, and there are hungry voices lining it.

03:30 pm - 15.08.2025#Exploring #BasedShopOwner #Knight #Creep #FreeLoot #UrbanExploration #CaveCrawl #SecretTunnel #ToTheLibrary Let me start by saying, HOLY FUCK! We just absolutly fucked up this cloacked hooded guy! i kinda feel a bit bad, but at the same time, ive never felt this alive!!! i feel like im just learning to run for the first time, i managed to dispell the pull of gravity ITSELF, granted it was just for 6 seconds, but holy shit! I have GOT to do that again! i feel like i could run 30 laps around the school without braking a sweat! Ever since we recoverd the book for those two idiots, and i skillfully avoided incriminating myself with the hallpatrol-parole. I havent been able to get a blink of sleep! ive stayed up all night writing down everything i could think of! as far as i can tell this type of magic is compleatly uncharted waters, i know magika responds indivdually to the caster, but ive never heard of anything like this! the only books i could find on anything remotly similar is just fairtales of the grand magician, Fauks Dvindelldell doing something similar by reversing gravity, which is beyond impressive but still a crude spell in the way of interacting with the weave and still, there is no way of knowing it to be true, i must ask my professors on Tuesday before our next Transmutaion class if such a feat is even possible or how explored this branch of magika even is! Regardless, the trip was not without its fruits on its own, i forsee a beautiful friendship between myself and Porche, shes got this pull i cant help but orbit, everything is a laugh around her. Katja is an interesting charecter, hard to read. I'm gonna be honest, from time to time i forgott Layman was there, he seems to not desire the spotlight much. But i discovered the book i was pining for! in the spotlight of my newfound affinity i've almost forgotten i stashed under my bed, I need to give it the attention it deserves... in a while, i still got so many ideas of what could now become possible through my newfound potential! (I also manged to snag a book on Astronomy, maybe once ive checked out the former, this could be a good starting point to understand my dreams or powers better.... hopefully.... id be so depressed if it just turned out to be another misguided soul droning on about crystals, ugh... i get that they are practical, i just... ugh...)
1205#GroupProject #Studying #StudentLife #Vibing #TheTeam #NewAdventures Been ditching some of my classes lately, apperently I missed that I was assigned into a group and expected to complete a project with them or something, I don't really know. 1. "Katja" -the quiet one, i don't particularly know anything about her, shes sharp, apparently somewhat of a prodegy, top of every class, shes a lot like the tutors; Rigid, unwavering, shes maticulus in her approach to the weave, but like everyone else, she cuts through the weave, her sharp clean cut might be better then the crude methods of our teachers, but its still a cut where a soft hand would do. 2. "Layman Stone". He's not what i would call a social butterfly, but he has his calling and his obsession, and i can respect that, he doesn't take the word of our tutors as gospel, but forges his own path, unbiased by recognition, social rewards or the opinion of others. of that I am envious, but i won't be so quick to wish to trade places before i get to know him better. 3. "Porche" -the labradoodle. I have no clue why i gave her that title, but it seemed approporiate. if I didnt know any better i would have thought the air she breathed went to her head, rather than lungs. That being said, she's easily my favorite of the trio, her presence is a breath of fresh air and for all the nonesence she sprouts, there seems to be meaning hidden between the lines, and she appares to be happily and successfully navigating her life, so i really can't judge her. In ways shes doing better than i am... The nightmares have returned, I am missing sleep and classes, i pretend to fill the charecter i have buildt for myself of being sleezy, lazy and constantly off on some trip, but the truth is... ... Nevermind, sorry, i got of topic. Tonight we're going to see if we can't find a book for these two idiots that think they can blackmail us, if we are sucsessful in finding the hidden book, maybe i can in the same fell swoop uncover the secret of the mysterius note and the even more mysterius Professor Horst. does this compendium of wards and shields really have the answers I'm searching for? I guess theres only one way to find out, heres hoping i dont get another week of detention! untill then-
1205#StudySesh #MyWeekend #NotLikeTheOtherBoys #Books #Reading #Uni. Another beautiful day at Murkow university, hanging out with my new friends are always a joy, but none of them seem to quite match with my energy. It's like they're only seeing the world with their eyes and mind, not the soul. Like they only learn and talk about the weave, they don't "feel" it, beating in their chest. I tried bringing it up at a few freshers parties, most just seem to pin me as the mello-dramatic kind of wizard. I just laugh it off, but as the first week of studies started i can't help but feel alienated from their teachings. All the tutors have such an insistance on a pragmatic approach, they dont feel how their method cuts trought the wave like a knife crudly attempting to cut trough wood, not caring about the grain it shreads in its way, rather than working with it, being guided by it, creating in harmony. hmmm... maybe I AM melodramatic!
