Born in the jungles west of Nova Aera, Astu was an energetic and curious grippli. He quickly took an interest in the civilization eastward of his jungle home. His peers never understood this fascination but rather branded him as a weirdo. Blessed with a bright mind and a talent for trading. When he reached adulthood he left his tribe behind and ventured into the city of Nova Aera. There he quickly made a name for himself as a natural-born merchant. Quickly he took over the fruit trade and made himself a fortune. He then used his fortune to help the weak and poor grippli community inside the city. This gained the attention of the Mayor who gifted him with the title of Count of Nova Aera and a house in the upper parts of the city.
He did, however, turn out to be a sleazy creep, who ended up getting murdered by a woman he tried to make his personal slave.
