Fredwardo was born thousands of years ago, as a human during the time of the great dragon wars, his name was Fedwar. He made a pact with the demon Alaktharis, turning him into a tiefling with half demon blood and half human blood, he was renamed Akthar and was the most powerful of Alaktharis's servants, vowing to do whatever he has to in order to protect his family. He became the general of the demon army, a merciless killer who did whatever Alaktharis asked of him, equipped with a piece of Alaktharis's being himself, within an extremely powerful magical bracer called Crownrend. When Akthar was commanded to kill his own family, who were rebelling against the demon army, he resisted Alaktharis and Crownrend, he cast Crownrend away and told his grandson, who was pure of heart, to take Crownrend far away to somewhere he could never return from, eventually Crownrend was trapped in the upsidown castle of the Underdark. As punishment for breaking his pact, Akthar was petrified for thousands of years. After being re-awakened by the soul of Scoriach, his descendant who ended up taking the bracer to the upsidown castle, Akthar wandered Tonkir in agony from the residual memories of his atrocities and the pain of breaking a demon pact, now aging once more, after being stuck in the body of a seventeen year old for many years. He ended up coming across the village of <name> where he was taken in by some nice tieflings, (maybe also his descendants), he started worshipping Orwei, trying to repent for his misdeeds when dragons attacked <name>, most likely sensing a powerful demon who kills dragons. Still tormented by flashes of his past life, not fully being able to remember his flashes seconds after they happen but still remembering the pain, Akthar went north to Oarilī in search of a purpose. He met a human women who was a wizard, named Thia, Thia fell in love with Akthar and they were lovers for a while, until Akthar was eventually killed by his increasingly more intense flashes of his forgotten time, possibly a punishment from Alaktharis. Thia took Akthar to a great druid named <name>, who was powerful enough to resurrect Akthar, Thia spent everything she had to pay for Akthar's resurrection, instructing <name> to edit Akthar's memories to cut out anything relating to the previous life he lived which seemed to constantly torment him. <name> fell in love with Akthar though, and when resurrecting him, as resurrection can sometimes have side effects, accidentally gave Akthar a turtle shell. <name> used this as an opportunity to construct a new reality in Akthar, now Fredwardo's mind where Thia cursed Fredwardo out of jealousy because he wanted to be an assistant to <name> and become a druid. Believing this all to be true, Fredwardo became assistant to <name>, eventually going on his own adventures to pay for the rebuilding of his town, which he now believes he was born in. In her anger and wanting Fredwardo back, wanting <name> to die, Thia joined the shadow legion where she became Tonoura, the third leader, lust, the octopus. Using her new power granted by Shraenire, Tonoura killed <name> and waited for the day where she could finally reconnect with her love and tell him everything. Tonoura hates working for Shraenire and never wanted to be a part of the shadow legion, but broke, with nothing left but memories of her love, she was forced to join out of desperation, she knows that she can't ever quit the legion so now she wants to recruit Fredwardo to join her and fix her broken life which she hates so much. Fredwardo will find Crownrend, who will seem lawful good, and adorn him. Crownrend will strengthen Fredwardo's demonic surges, bringing out the essence of Alaktharis within him. Slowly Fredwardo will be corrupted by his power, and then cast Crownrend off, at which point Crownrend will tell Fredwardo that he is a servant of Alaktharis and Crownrend was created for him. Fredwardo will then have a flash, reminded of his past by Crownrend. These flashes will persist until Fredwardo somehow digs deep into his own consciousness, discovering the whole truth and meeting Scoriach, who will help Fredwardo be alleviated from his flashes, and will remove the turtle shell slowly transforming him into a turtle. Crownrend will be adorned by somebody new, probably Tonoura, who will try to force Fredwardo to take him back, Fredwardo will resist the thrall and then trap Crownrend in an arcane contraption to hold him, eventually destroying him and the quill as they seal the Singularity later on. Fredwardo and Tonoura will have a climactic battle, either before or after he loses his shell and casts away Crownrend and such. (All these things could happen and probably will but also might not and railroading is bad, it probably will play out slightly differently)
