Shadow is a follower of the Grand raven also know as Archimedes. He is a Vistani born who believe that Strahd was the right full ruler of his people. He led a mission to kill a bunch of Followers of a Astral god believe to hold the kill to free strahd from his chains but he end up getting trapped within the Templet and fused with the souls of the temple. Now he is the Ward to one of the few who survived that night and has slowly grown to care for them.

Alafair Lash was born on a Vistani convoy that travel the multiverse in search of people to bring to Strahd’s domain for him to play with. Alafair grew up in a family that believed that strahd was the rightful ruler of the Vistani people. As he grew up, he was taught all the ways of combat and magic that Vistani had access too. Once he became of age, he would leave his convoy to find people that should be captured and taken to the land of mist. As time past he brought 100s of adventurers into the land of mist after years of service finally Strahd started to gain awareness that he is trapped and started to plan for his escape. Strahd sent Alafair to try and kill a god in effort to allow strahd a chance to return to the prime plane. He arrive at the temple and try to kill everyone in the temple but he ended up being trapped in the back room of the temple with the leader and several of the students as he was bound there for years. When a student from years ago that escape returned to the temple and released him as he tried to run but was quickly bound to the women her name was Rowan. After years of them traveling together and Alafair being a jerk to her. He slowly started to warm up to her and start to walk away from Archimedes’ as time pass, he was finally free but he did not leave. He wanted to have a new start and gave her the name shadow instead of alafair. He fought alongside her and taught her thinks about how to be a monk along with Wyott. As time pass, he would start to call her a friend but the time had come for them to go and fight Archimedes’. Shadow could not go with as he had to fight with the nation to defend it from attack after the battle, he learned that his friend had died fighting Archmedes and shadow blamed himself. If he had help her soon and trained her harder maybe she would have returned home. After a few years of training, he was approached by Daleria and was asked if he would journey with her to old Avalon. To hunt those who follow the cult of Grand raven. He quickly join and left with her and Levi. Making quick work the cultist.
