The personal history of Harbinger is unknown in its truth. He proclaims to be from another world like his subjects', but different in some ways. He dictated his childhood and how he endured a childhood and adolescence of punishment and abandonment by uncaring, and cruel gods, and how one day he was granted the power to change it, and he did. He was naive though, and mistakes were made, making it necessary for the God-Emperor to take his righteous crusade elsewhere, to this world.

Morality & Philosophy

Harbinger has a staunch anti-god belief, he hates all forms of divinity with a passion that knows no bounds. He takes an extreme 'the ends justify the means' approach and understands the death and suffering he is causing, but truly believes that at the end of the day it will all be for the better. He is not cruel, not unnecessarily. He actually values his subordinates having families and lives, and sees it as a crucial thing for someone who works under him to have something to lose, to have those connections. Not as a threat, but as motivation for themselves. Lonely and selfish people care only for themselves

Harbinger has an extreme hatred for all other divine beings. He sees them as parasites, leeching off of those who know no better and worship them, therefore further empowering them and suckling off more of their worship. It is a cycle that he wishes to break, utterly and completely, for only he is worthy of worship.
