Personal history

El'gon is the firstborn son of the royal demon family in Hell, raised to be the 'perfect' Crown Prince by his war-mongering and power hungry father Valthorr. However, he took after his kind-hearted mother Yensa, and his stubborn Nona Lliadiu, far more than his father could have anticipated. Fascinated by human music and the relative freedom they had compared to the Lower Class denizens of his homeland, who often were tortured or killed for the Upper Class demons' amusement. When El'gon reached adulthood and his voice finally had to be heard by the courts and his father, he cried out against the injustice of their treatment, only to be mocked and threatened by his father and his followers. After that day, Valthorr threatened to kill his son should he ever speak out again, and so El'gon pleaded with his mother and grandmother to help him be free of the shackles that were his life as the heir to a blood-soaked throne. Yensa and Lliadiu agreed, though promised to help El'gon only if he took his faithful companion Rhias -a Hell Hound the boy had raised since whelping- with him. El complied, leaving the chaos and death of his home realm to wander the mortal realms- even if not all beings there were accepting of his true nature and status- a fact that he learned to hide as he became a wandering bard who dabbled occasionally in dark magic.
