Appearance

Physical Description

Most people see Sprig and Twig and assume they are a single mutant being, but in fact they are two separate individuals, both fully human with no mutations other than the fact they are physically joined together. Most of the body people see is Twig's. Sprig grows out of the right side of Twig's stomach and waist. She has her own chest and arms that are separate from her sibling's, as well as her own shoulders, neck, and head. She has no legs of her own and is entirely reliant on Twig for moving about. On the other hand, Twig has all the body parts one would expect on a typical human, apart from the second individual growing out of their side. However, Twig's right shoulder and arm are displaced just a little to fit their sister.
 
As for major organs, they each have their own heart and lungs, but share a stomach, liver, and other organs in the lower part of their body. They are both capable of eating (and have their own individual tastes), but it is technically only necessary for one of them to eat. Either one of them eating will provide nourishment for both. That said, unless there is a reason for only one of them to eat, they will usually both choose to eat as it is pleasurable for both of them. Between the two of them, they require only a little more food than a typical human of their size.
 
They both require sleep, though do not necessarily have to sleep at the same time. However, since Sprig cannot move on her own, if she lies awake while Twig sleeps, there is little else she can do except read if there is a book close enough at hand. If Twig is awake while Sprig sleeps, they are not much more mobile. Movement requires supporting Sprig and risking waking her. Nonetheless, it's not uncommon for one of them to like awake while the other sleeps; it's just not something usually intended.
 
Sprig is the physically stronger of the two. Not having the benefit of legs has meant that she has relied on her arms more than her sibling and thus has developed her arm muscles considerably more. They both suffer from a somewhat frail constitution, falling victim to illnesses rather easily.
 

Facial Features

Sprig has a more rounded, wider face than Twig, who has a more pointed chin and thinner face. Twig's nose is the larger, while Sprig's is more of a button nose.
 

Specialized Equipment

Sprig and Twig have to have clothing specially made for them. This can cause a bit of a problem if they're travelling. However, over the past couple years being based in Ardan, they are well enough known that local tailors know their needs, and they have acquired enough of a wardrobe to meet what travel needs they have.

Personality

Motivation

Twig is the more outgoing of the two. They are charismatic and charming, and much more likely to engage in romantic relationships than their sister.
 
Sprig is more highly educated, skilled with computers and electronics, and highly knowledgeable in science and technology. People often describe her as shy, but this is only in comparison with her sibling.
 
Both of them love and are highly devoted to music, both their own and Dagger's. They would both give up everything else in their lives before giving up music.
