Arabelle grew up in Barovia and spent most of her nine-and-three-quarter ears in the land behind the mists. Daughter to Lugash, a Vistani leader who worked for Strahd, she was nailed to the side of the church in Vallaki and left there to die, when her father stood against the Count. When the DaBs discovered her fate, Daruk recovered her body and kept it safe for the time beinng. After Strahd had been defeated, Daruk brought her body along into the Prime Material Plane and restored Arabelle to life.
 
Ever sinde being restored, Arabelle has fully accepted her adoptive family and travels along with them. She has learned quite a few interesting things on her journey, some of them even age appropriate.
 
Arabelle has been changed by der temporary death. After being brought back to life, she does not appear to need much food or sleep, and has a higher tolerance for substances than any kid should have. Furthermore, she has found an invisible friend who keeps her company, listens to her, and grants her powers through an infernal pact.
