A risk taking sell sword, hell bent on making a name for himself no matter what. He is sly tongued, witty and rash, with a greedy and cold soul at times. His past shrouded in mystery, but one thing he remembers, "trust not in the gods".

La’sair is a black hand member, who deals in secrets and behind the back affairs for Nagao, much like Luvier, they are here blades. He grew up with the main family, consisting of mhukhett and Luvier and Nagao, along with the old master (the Nikaru man). He handles many affairs outside of veliccia, affairs that can require him to get his hands bloody. Driven with a drive for power, he seeks both status and magic of some form to claim as his own. He will never cross eclipse, and never allow them to be crossed by anyone either. Despite his race allegiance with gods, he cast them off as a child, thought he does acknowledge them. Not really a trusting person, he will aid members of eclipse and those that Nagao has requested dealings with. He is seen as a older brother by both Hiruzen and Naru, and the black hand look to him as a form of council, and a reliable person.
 
“All I know, is that you are given nothing, and deserve nothing. These are the words I live by as I survived on the streets of Veliccia, as a child of the streets. My childhood consisted of looking for scraps, and sometimes taking what I needed, hell sometimes what I wanted as well. I used to run with other street urchins of the city, one was a sapphrian boy, I can never forget his name and face, a red blood as they’re called named Daron, and one of the first people who I could call a brother. He gave me some joy in my early life, was always there for me had my back, and I had his for the most part. We were an incredible duo, among the rest of the street litter we associated ourselves with, we felt unstoppable stole as we stole to survive, and made a living in the city. Truly Daron was my first friend, and it was a true shame when I found him with his throat slit, and hands cut off in a alleyway, for what reason who knows. That day i was reminded of what it means to live, and what you need to survive; POWER is what you need for only those with it can commit an act like this, and only those without it are at the mercy of the world and it’s inhabitants. One thing I got out it thought was a new friend, a raven, who if he wasn’t so weak would be feeding on the remains of my friend too, I can’t say what made me bond with him, after all he only saw food on Daron’s corpse, but like me he could only watch, as the strong took what they wanted first, so instead of attempting to rip his head off, I decided to take a small victory and make a new friend, named Ko. Time passed, I still kept at my usual antics, however as the time progressed, I found myself desiring more, not just scraps to survive by, but actual food, proper clothes, coins to fill my empty pockets, and most of all I wanted strength and POWER. My escapades soon turned into, much greater “thievery” I took more of what I needed, and soon my wants turned into my needs. I began to take from all sorts of people, the wealthy, the strong, even those weak enough to be one foot away from nothingness. One day I got bold and stole from a syndicate in Veliccia, damn near costed me my life, but luckily I escaped only with a three lash cut across my eye, dumbass jester king must really love his possessions, both material and magical. After that though I had to be cautious, I mean stealing from a guard or noble is one thing, but a syndicate is a whole other matter. That didn’t phase me though, i knew I needed POWER, and I wasn’t going to let anything stop me, well at least I won’t let most stop me. That all changed that fateful night, the night I decided to break into a manor, and “collect” my prizes. It should have been easy, I had Ko scout the area, and even distract a guard for me, and easily slipped in unnoticed. I found myself baffled at the fact that, the damn manor had little to offer me, just bust of the couple, some foreign tapestry, and so many rooms for boarding, yet no one stayed here. Pissed and ready to leave, I was stopped by a room in the manor, one with a strange lock, that of two dragons interlocked I’m a circle, and the crest of the manor in the middle, and of course I couldn’t pass that up. I reached the door, my hand almost grabbing the handle on the crest, and then I was grappled from behind and tossed on my ass by some dark elf girl. She couldn’t have been close to my age (7 at the time) maybe even younger, a bit smaller In physique, and yet she threw me like a child, and that of course wasn’t about to fly. I lunged at her, she again dismantled me instantly, but I did land a few clean hits to her stomach. I had to run, for she was surprisingly skilled for a damn little girl, but luckily she wasn’t fast enough, and I was able to hide myself upon one of the manors stairways. Soon as she came within pouncing distance, I had her, my hand on her throat, and the other ready to claw her eyes out, but then the craftily little she devil, fired some sort of magical projectile into my side, and I had to let her go. At this point both of us were a bit tired, but I more so that’s her, so again retreated, this time deeper into the manner, to throw her off, and eventually I came to a surprise, a Telviri boy (maybe teen) walking in the darkness, and completely unaware of what is going on. By the time the elf found me again, I had the telviri’s throat in my hand, once she saw she backed down finally. It seemed I was gonna be able to leave with my tail tucked between my legs, but then the damn telviri blinded me with some magic, and slipped from under me, running to the elf and dragging her back downstairs. I should’ve taken that as a sign an ran away, but I was pissed enough to want some payback, so I gave chase, and came to a surprising sight. Those two now being shielded by two foreign humans, nikaru I believe is what they are called. I was already blinded with rage, and a bit of embarrassment, so I said fuck it and charged them both. Leaping from the stairs I went for the male nikaru, as the woman stayed to cover the other two children, and he immediately tossed me aside, away from them. I regained my balance and charged him again, and he didn’t hesitate to break me, as one punch of his broke one of my ribs, then a kick in the jaw from him rattled something in my head it felt like. There I laid on the floor clutching my side, with some blood pooling out of my mouth, I thought to myself, this is the end of me, this is the end of a gutter boy, who never knew his parents, never had a spoon to eat with, who didn’t keep his friend alive, who is probably wanted by some pretty dangerous people now, all because he wanted to live in the cruel world that he was spat out in, this is his end. Then I thought to myself, ‘fuck it let’s make it a good end’ and came back to my feet, barely able to see my hand on my ribs, but my other hand at my side with my claws outstretched, ready for what comes next. So I charged him, no worries anymore in my head, and somehow was able to dig my claws into his chest, completely getting past his guard it seemed. I was on his chest confused, as my last view of him was of him smiling, and my last thought was, ‘oh shit my bird’ and then I lost consciousness. I awoke a day later, for some reason bandaged up in one of the empty rooms I had seen, with restraints on my, as the telviri boy from that night stayed close by the door, reading a book. Once he noticed I was awake, he left to get the nikaru couple, but before they came in I could see the dark elf girl, starring at me through the door way, but she stopped once the couple arrived. The man entered first, but he didn’t speak, instead it was the female who tried to talk to me. She began with the basic question, who are you, what were you doing here, how did you get here, but I was quiet, but then Ko came in the room and landed on the man’s shoulder that is. I couldn’t help but let out an outburst, the bastard bird seemed to betray me at that point, however the couple seemed to laugh and calmed me, as they said the bird came to my rescue once I passed out from that fight, looks like someone does have my back at times. Once they saw a brighter side to me, the woman began questioning me more, but I still saw them all as threats, especially the man, but then that changed in a instant. The woman got up went to my restraints and just released them, of her own accord no less, and no one tried to stop her, the man even seemed to chuckle and roll his eyes. After she freed me, she then said ‘how would you like to have an actual home?’ and I was stunned. Why would they offer me such a boon, especially after I almost killed two of their...children i assume, why offer me this. I remember in my confused state, all I uttered was the word, ‘why’, and the woman and man simply said back, ‘why not?’ and with those words, I was initiated in the clan of these two nikaru. From that day I spent time with the man, along side the telviri boy, mhukhett is his name, as the dark elf was with the female one, Nagao is her name and the dark elf was named Luvier, that bitchy child is one of my many banes to this day, though she has grown on me a bit now, and mhukhett became like a literal brother to me, he even taught me how to talk to Ko in a somewhat effective manner. The man though, he became the very first father figure I could ever truly rely on, and the mother was the same, a kind an trusting mother to me, though they did beat knowledge into me like I was a bit of a mental case (I probably was to be honest), of both how the world works in terms of basic science and culture and politics, and the more fun aspects of the world that of combat, and magic. I grew to find that the later parts of my education was more appealing, and spent more time with the man, as he headed my education in that field, and really he oversaw my growth to what I am today, well at least most of my growth that is, I still have no idea where he went or why, but now I answer to the woman. All he left me was his wife and two brats, to protect and watch over, but not a reason as to why, however he wouldn’t have to worry, I would die for my adopted... MY FAMILY. Nagao was still there, and she became the one I answered to now, and I couldn’t be happier to aid her, as she shares the same view of the world as I did, in fact it seemed like all of his could come to an agreement to why we stay together, and work with each other, as all of us had past, and all of us know this world is cruel and needs to be balanced. As I grew into the man I am now, this Family became a true Familia, a true underworld clan, of Veliccia as we even got new members, and some of which that Nagao deals with directly. One being a Shi-Cho male, who apparently lost his family in some sea raid, and the other being a literal Oni, who just arrived on our doorstep one day and with no words was accepted by Nagao, it was her choice so I went with it. Us five became her black hand, her most trusted members, and her family, and this new organization became a force in Veliccia known as eclipse. Yes a lot changed from when I was a child, I have friends and a family, a place to call my own, and a bit of purpose, but one thing didn’t change, my desire for power in this world still lingers. On occasion Nagao sends me to handle business, sometimes that business takes me to far regions of the continent, and during that time, or really any other time, I make sure to look for sources of power, both material and of course magic, so one day I can get back to Veliccia and turn it from the cesspool it is, to a better cesspool FOR ALL. Yes, with Nagao and eclipse at my back, I swear I will have TRUE POWER.
