Aris is a willowy young woman with blue hair matching her pale-blue eyes. She was a notable technical in New Avon Starport and became known to a small community as one of the best technicians in the Rim. She worked for several years as the lead technician at Kennio Jenkins Repair Services.

Early Life

Aris was a prodigy of technology and mechanical engineering from her early days. She was known to happily run around Starport breaking things down and putting them back together, often better than they'd originally been to begin with. She was a local legend by the time she was a teenager and among the regular community of traders and travelers passing through New Avon, arriving with a new Core book of technology or mechanical design was simply dubbed "Tech Trasher's Tribute". As she grew, she began to help the same travelers and transporters with their technology in-as-much to learn it herself as to pay them back for the knowledge they brought her.

Attack of Slater's Boys 

In 2350, Brone Slater and his thugs showed up at the front door of the Scoxand home demanding to know about what Nathaniel Scoxand had taken from them. Nathaniel was dragged out into the street and held down at gunpoint as Aris's mother was shot in the head directly in front of him in a brutal execution. Aris jumped up to charge the shooter in outrage and was shot in the gut and left bleeding in the sand. They took what they'd come for and left him holding his bleeding daughter covered in his wife's blood.
 
Aris's life was saved by a local physician in Starport, but her father's mind had broken. After she recovered, bearing gruesome scars on her stomach for her trouble, she was quickly forced into accepting work with Kennio Jenkins as a technician just to provide food for herself and her father. He became a wisp of a man, never leaving the house, trapped inside by his guilt and severe depression. The joy the locals saw in her was gone as well and only a timid, deeply hurt girl remained in the place of the "Tech Trasher". She was pitied by locals but refused help in all but the most dire circumstances and fell into working just to survive.

A Fated Meeting

George Salter had become familiar with Aris after his years of transporting goods through the Rim. He led the Crew of the Salter's Peppers to meet with her to see if she could provide them with fake Krasian IDs to allow them to enter the Krasian Territories.
 
Aris sized up the Crew and seized her opportunity for revenge. She pointed out that she doesn't have any IDs to forge but pointed them towards a local crew of slavers, Slater's Boys, that would have Krasian IDs she could alter for them. The crew was able to hunt down and destroy Slater's Boys, finally giving her justice for her dead mother and broken father. Unbeknownst to her, Dash Reynard would also be given her father's Mark of Fate and opted to refuse it and give the man a second chance at life with the caveat that he be there for his daughter once again. In their own way, the Crew would avenge her mother and return her father to her once more.

Syndicate Occupation

13:3:2352

After the Star Forge's tragedy in early 2352, Kennio Jenkins was approached by the Hausaga Syndicate to repair a datapad pad that they'd "recovered" in a raid. This datapad, like all other projects of note, was handed down to Aris. Unfortunately, she realized that there was no way of truly repairing this datapad as it had been riddled with holes and was almost certainly inoperable. Upon hearing this, Kennio Jenkins abandoned her and the shop without warning out of fear of the wrath of the Hausaga Syndicate he'd made the deal with.
 
In fortunate timing, the Crew returned to New Avon. They were able to protect her in the nick of time then eventually get the rest of the thugs off of her back regarding the issue long enough for her and her father to go into hiding to avoid their retribution. They helped covered for her so they could escape and left the planet after their grand intentions of facing down the Broken Chrysanthemum went awry.

Krasian Occupation

After going into hiding with Nathaniel Scoxand from the Syndicate, Aris and her father were ironically in a better situation than the rest of New Avon to hide from the incoming Krasian Meritocracy forces. After the initial assault concluded and the Occupation began, Aris and her father began to go out, provide aid, and even bring back those running from Krasian forces. Their hideout in the Volcanic Ridges of New Avon expanded into a full underground tent city with other survivors and like-minded individuals.

After Chiara Mekiee and the formerly unknown Rose Skytree showed up in their caves months later, Aris and Nathaniel Scoxand welcomed them and offered them aid in response for the aid they themselves had been given in the past. They helped the two regroup with the rest of the Crew and, after the ambush at the Anderson Farm, brought them back to the New Avon Underground. They offered them aid, brought them to a meeting with their off-world contacts, the Court of Scavs, and ended up mixed up in their mission to infiltrate the Hold at Sabbarton.
 
During the infiltration, Aris was a vital aid but ended up having to overload her Holojack and burned her right arm from her wrist to her elbow. Nathaniel, leading a distraction force, ended up shot but surviving. They were given a KPO Combat Dropship and Titan Mechanized Armor that the Crew had stolen and squibbed from the Krasian Occupation and Aris was tasked by Dash Reynard to put Mark 37-091's Memory Core into the Titan to create a Protector of New Avon.
