Once, Bormar stood as a pillar of Goldenscale — the right hand of its king, sworn companion, and unyielding defender of the realm. His blade was the king’s will, his voice the king’s law, his heart bound by unshakable loyalty.
But kingdoms rot not only from enemies without, but from shadows within. The betrayal of the princess, the imprisonment of the royal family, and the unraveling of the realm have struck Bormar like a wound deeper than steel. The halls he once patrolled with pride now echo with whispers of treachery, and the banners he swore to defend hang tattered by dishonor.
 
Yet Bormar does not bend.

He wanders the realm now, searching for heroes willing to stand where the court has fallen.
