It’s actually a pretty good job with lots of benefits them only problem with it is their boss, The Mad Mage Halaster. They have the unenviable job of reigning in Halaster and stoping his antics from destroying Undermountan on a daily basis. Luckily Halaster still has enough sense to pay the, a lot, and give them better treatment then his other apprentices.



This good treatment is why you still see them traveling the halls doing their work and occasionally stopping to chat. Even though they are recommended to not form attachment to the adventureing party’s they still do. They just think the party’s are interesting groups of people and fun to talk to. Even if the average mortality rate of adventures leaves much to be desired.
