Echoes of the Past - Session 2

Today we head back into the forest. I am afraid of what we might find but the curiosity of it is strong and it may be my only chance out of the tribe. I must admit today is also a strange by the fact that I have been allowed to go in a group without the Lyrian Clan and was requested to do so. I was told that I should stay clear of the high elves so I will try to see what the day will hold and report back to them. I an sure as long as i follow the Stars guidance that Abu and myself will be okay.
 
It is strange. We went back from where we came yesterday yet there was barely a trace of what happened, and there was someone waiting... A human. A human who helped an elf. A human with what looked like magic like Silla said before. Yet her response was odd towards this man. She did not attack but was kind in a sense. She said she watched him die. Its was very curious. And to think of it I have truly never met a human before only been told what to do, and there is a part of me that I have to hold back to not attack but also a part of me that is curious to meet a human.
 
The Tablet.
Going further in we discovered an ancient stone, with markings older than anything I have ever seen. The others say it looked as though it was written by Dwarfs. I was never taught how to read that was only for the clan elders but some of the symbols look as though they might be symbols for the moon, the sun and the land. I wonder what it could mean and what might have taken place many years ago for this type of thing to occur.
 
As we keep heading North following the stream I keep watching the human... he is... strange but nothing like what I expected or what I was told. It feels as though my tribe has been keeping many secrets about the outside world away from me.
 
The Temple.
We found a cave of sorts deeper in the forest, and it appears to be where the water source comes from and although as far as we were aware before there had not been anyone here for many years, yet this is built by someone or something. Venturing below the Ground and the only way we can go there are more amazing things. This seems more like what they call a temple there are many carvings in stone, nothing like I could ever imagine have existing, It was here that we found something strange, a stone that glowed, it had a feeling to it when I touched it but the others could not sense this. Sillia was the only one that could also sense this, she had a sense of understanding about her and asked me a very strange question. She asked me if I was truly from my home, If I was truly a Wood Elf. I don't understand what she means by this and I am so confused... what is going on?

The Human left, I guess I should probably say his name. Vulkrem. And I spoke to him, he warns of somthing coming and for some reason I feel I can believe him, I can trust him. he tells me
"When you dream at night. When you hear the sounds. Listen for the song. Its there it has always been there, but it has been supressed. I has always been a part of us and now, now things are coming together. Now we are bearing witness to these changes. And they will be both terrifying and great." .... "and if you have to. Look to the skies. Think my name. Who knows, I may show up."
 
I hope maybe one day we can meet again and he can tell me what he means by this or I can find what he means by this in the passing time.
