Going by the name of Suladân he wanders the world artifact hunting and looking for a way to safeguard his being from the higher powers of the world. He does not wish to be controlled by anyone else. Man or God. He will be the master of his own fate by any means.
 
Vaden Baylord born to human parents he had been dealt a poor hand even before birth. His parents made a deal with a creature of the Faewild for prosperity in exchange for their firstborn. He lived ten years of his life in a home free of poverty unaware that he will pay for what his parents did. Once he came of age the fae came to collect what it was owed.

Taking the child away for payment and placing them into servitude for years. Eventually being being "rescued" by an entity of the Shadowfell given his shadow genasi appearance. The entity proclaiming itself as The Gambler. This act of generosity actually turning out to be a passing Interest just to bother the Faewild. He is then set loose upon the world, a disgust for humanity and a goal to keep his fate his own.
