Koric was part the the 14th tribe, upon his brother ascension at the age of 15, Koric’s brother Mooriek, began to manifest of his oracle powers. While Mooriek took a mate the strongest female of the tribe, Koric took to the sword. He knew he would never have powers his own, but instead of being defeated, he found his new cause, to protect his future tribe leader. At the age of 17, shortly after his younger brother took a mate, and the tribe split, as with tradition, Mooriek took his family, some childhood friends, and his new mate into the jungle to start the 14th tribe.
12 years ago Mooriek decided to settle in a uninhabited spot in the jungle, close to a brook as a water source. Koric did his duty, helped with hunting, helped managing crops and resources, his physical prowess always slightly above average due to trying not to live in his brothers shadow, he tend to overwork himself, building muscle in the process.
But it wasn’t until his first excursion with a faction primarily of humans seeking slaves when Koric discovered his own power. How he can tap into his inner rage, control his adrenaline, giving himself short bursts of strength beyond the normal superior strength that orcs possess. He finally was able to become his brother equal, not mystically, but physically.
About a year prior to The Displacement, Koric was contracted by the dwarves to escort a caravan along a trade route, among other highly skilled orcs when it comes to the use of weaponry and fighting abilities, when the caravan was attacked. A group of mixed humanoid attacked, almost every race can be picked out, men, elves, dwarves, even an orc was spotted, but primarily human. They attacked swiftly and fiercely, and the battle ended swiftly. As irons were being clasped to fellow survivors, Koric was next. However, Koric did not go willingly. With a single cuff on his wrist, Korics adrenaline surged, he grasp his captor by his throat and threw him into his compatriots. Koric felt rage burrow deep from his soul, he grabbed a lost weapon from the caravan and laid waste to over 30 men. Single handedly. Although the incursion cost him physically, the caravan would later regroup and return home.
Now our time turns to a year after The Great Displacement. The tribes have begun scuffles with lack of the oracles able to commune with each other. But faith on them has faded. And from this point on, the strongest of the tribes began to take control, Koric knew his place. By his brothers side, but even with his new found strength, he can’t hold it consistently. And why defending his brother, Koric’s body finally gave into fatigue, and his brother was slain.
At the present time Koric has avenged his brother death and taken his wife as his own. He also has taken control of the 14th tribe. Over the past few months, Koric has shown his warriors how to tap into the primal rage that resides in them all, even after so many generations of suppressing and being suppressed. Koric’s name and strength has spread to the other tribes, the 14th tribe stands to be the strongest in the nation and usually scuffles end with words before it ends with blades. The Great Displacement happened 5 years ago, and much has changed. Koric couldn’t believed he would be the tribe leader, that he would set himself on a journey to reunite the tribes once again, and find the reason and cause for the Displacement, or die trying, this was his cause, he knew that now, this is why he was always the strongest, and more fierce that any of the 14 tribes has ever seen.
