Adalwolf is the most powerful out of all three Hags in the Coven of herself, Granny Barrowbye, and Morwenna. She has existed for millennia, and once a student of Baba Yaga.
 
Over this time she has led many covens and with her previous one, managed to take over & dominate the infamous Fey creature the Jabberwocky. Takihng the Vorporal Blade as her own she holds it over the latter creature to make it do her bidding. It took little to destroy the Celtic trribe that held the sword though she lost her coven members in the process, them melting into the earth. Thankfully any survivors knew little of her involvement, and grabbed both blade & creature as her pets to torment the Slavs now.
 
When the opportunity to form a new coven dedicated to slow the preservation of magic in mortals she grabbed the chance. The thought of mortals using magic to prevent her, and to a degree her species, from dominating in this sickened her. How dare they prevent her from becoming as powerful as the infamous Baba?
 
Striking out far to the east where the Slavs now dwell, it makes it harder for anyone to finish off the coven completely. Yet she knows deep down that there were survivors still alive in the Celts, and Witches that have sent out an operative to hunt down any knowledge of the coven members.
