Living doll created to assist a magical dollmaker. Sold off along with the rest of her master's possessions after he never returned from a journey. Quiet and reserved, but can be quite crafty.
Faye is a rather petite porcelain doll that has been magically animated. While having standard humanoid proportions, the pale and slim figure stands at only above two feet high. Her nearly pearlescent "skin" and platinum hair stand in stark contrast to her deep blue eyes. She often wears an assortment of fancy dresses, her favorite being a sun dress of dark lavender, trimmed with black and white lace. She wears matching stockings and simple belted dress shoes.
Faye was the assistant to a doll maker who considered her his crowning achievement. She helped him in his shop and learned some of the trade herself until one day when going out for supplies he never returned. Faye was left alone in the shop for months, trying to keep herself busy in hopes that her creator would return, but he never did. Eventually the property the shop sat on was returned to the local government, and the shop and all of its contents, including Faye herself, were put up for auction. Fearing what might happen to her if she were discovered she hid herself among the various other dolls in the shop, pretending to be just another one of the lifeless creations. While this saved her from being sold off as a curiosity, or worse; a slave, it did end up with her being put in a crate and sent off to an unknown destination. Without a home to return to, Faye decided she would use this opportunity to find out what happened to her creator, and perhaps find a new home...
...if she could ever escape this blasted crate.
