A younger woman, seeming to be in her mid to late 30s. Demeter is a very motherly figure. Because of this, many tend to underestimate her. Her unassuming appearance does not help this misjudgment, however, she does use this to her advantage.
She is often seen surrounded by plants, speaking and singing to them as if they were young children. This is because the children she had laid claim over were taken from her.
In her early life, Demeter was often seen taking in children without homes. These children had usually endured heavy trauma which forced them away from their original homes. After a horrific incident in Greece left her with no one, she was taken in by K.
Before she had made a home in K's castle, she laid each one of her children to rest in a gravesite far from the town that caused them such pain. She worked diligently with two craftsmen that K had hired to create stone statues in the form of angels for each child.
Soon after her intense grieving period, Demeter finally made a home under K's wing. As thanks for their generosity, Demeter tends to the trees and many plants surrounding the castle. This act in turn allowed her an outlet to care for something like she did her children.
She is highly protective of the plants surrounding her home as she believes them to be the last remnants of her late children's souls.
Aside from her love for the foliage surrounding her new home, Demeter holds a special place in her heart for a close friend, Hestia. The two bonded over the creation of the angel statues and their shared grief of losing their homes. It is said that Demeter often visits Hestia in the late hours to provide inspiration for her art pieces and offer aid in the processing of her grief.
It is rumored that the two have become much closer than simply friends, however, neither party has commented on the rumor.
