Morgana is the only-child and daughter of Jacques Distar Beaumont and Abigale Martha Archer-Beaumont . The Beaumont family, is not an original Eldwell family. Lord Sebastien Thomas Beaumont , Morgana's grandfather, fled Kingdom of Ashwall just before the revolution and due to his foresight the Beaumont Family was spared.
Abigale, Morgana's mother, died of cholera far away from home, during a refugee relocation mission. After her mother's death, Morgana's father Jacques, withdrew from public life and all his businesses for years. This was the time that Morgana was in the middle of her secondary education. Morgana was left to keep a grand household and its investments in order, while still finishing her education and dedicating herself to her passion, botany.
Recognising Morgana's abilities, Lady Eliza Hartwell (A close friend of Abigale) stepped in. With the permission of her father, Eliza, took Morgana under her wing and put the resources of the Hartwell family and the Lantern Society at work to help protect and grow the assets of the Beaumont estate.
In 1866 AF, Morgana's father remarried a much younger wife, Verity Chloe Blenkinsopp-Beaumont that gave him two, much younger little sisters. Claudia and Ophelie .
