A gnomish woman of exclusive tastes and always had. Where she came from this was possible as she made plenty of money. But her greed drove her away from her homeland and westward to the great city. Nan had all her life dealt in the business of selling her services as a wizard, which in Nova Aera was a crowded market. This meant that she now no longer could afford to have all the luxuries that she got used to. To afford her lifestyle she started loaning money from the counts of Hightown. Nan quickly accumulated a large debt which became almost impossible to pay off. As a last resort, she was offered a deal by the late Count Astu, who tried to make her sign a deal that would make her his personal slave. She ended up killing him to get out of it and is now serving a life sentence in the Nova Aeran dungeons.
