The Chief Time-technician in the Timetraveling Lab in Royal Scoeity Publishing in London. He had been tutored by Jules May, and when Jules disappeared in 2013, Marcus had to fill the big boots of his boss as the person in charge of the Timetraveling lab and its tech.
