Born in 1665 in a small village in West Africa, Cepheus lived among his people peacefully until 1684 when Spanish slavers arrived to steal him and his family away.
 
Cepheus worked a sugar plantation for for five years under the watchful eye of Guillem Barakos, a Spanish/Greek nobleman with a strange obsession for Greek mythology.
 
A year later, Guillem ordered his slaves to pack up and join him on a voyage to Greece for reasons he would not explain.
