Born and raised in an Amish colony, Libby went AWOL on her Rumspringa and worked her way up to starship pilot and first officer of the Phoenix.

Born and raised in an Amish colony on HD57095 LEIBNITZ, a planet on the outer rim of USCSS territory. As a child she played in the fields and helped her family on their farm. As she grew, she showed an aptitude for driving the horses in the fields. After a tragic accident that caused the death of her older brother, her father needed help with dusting the crops in an old air tractor AT-1002. Libby volunteered as boredom with her life on the farm was making her antsy. She immediately took to flying and only hunger could drag her away from the old plane. As her 16th birthday approached, so did the opportunity to enjoy Rumspringa. Secretly, Libby planned to use her Rumspringa to escape the stifling life in the Amish colony for good. Whilst in the main city on Leibnitz, she went AWOL from her group of friends and hitched a lift on the first star ship leaving the planet. Life was difficult as first, as she tried to make her way as first a mechanic and then as trainee pilot. Over the seven years since her escape she has made her way up through the ranks of starships until she is now the 1st Officer and Pilot of the Phoenix, a cargo ship run under licence by Captain Watt for the Armenderes Corporation.
