Sessiosn after John's Death Discussed what to do about Abe. Bandied about to straight up murder him, have someone murder him, commit him, frame him for murder. Sarah concerned about what happens to cops in prison. Dave and Jack worried about Abe implicating us in stuff. No good answers. What Sarah really wanted was to rewind the past hour and play it out differently. If wishes were fishes. Then she noticed a strange ghost making its way to the locker where she'd stuffed John. Asked him what he was doing. It ignored her. Asked Smoking Man, and he said, "Geist." She told the others she thought shit was about to go down. Geist reached through the drawer. Sarah opened it since if John accepted the Bargain she didn't want him stuck in a cold locker. Geist covered him in something like an ectoplasm cocoon. Even the mortals could see. John came back to himself. Clearly (and understandably) angry at Abe. He said we should go talk to him, but seemed so intent on it that Sarah doubted him. In the end, she thought--and he told her and she believed him--that he wanted to scare the hell out of Abe, but not hurt him. Went to Abe's place. John approached his house and used Boneyard. No one inside. Used Boneyard to open the building. A quick search revealed Abe's body. He blew his brains out. Sarah feels like she let down both of her friends. She shooed out everyone else, saying she'd call the cops, stating she was worried about Abe and went to check on him and found him--all of which is the truth. She searched for his ghost, but didn't find it. After they left she retrieved any information/logs hunter related, then sat by his body, dry-eyed, too sorrowful to really cry, and talked to his cooling corpse while waiting for the cops to arrive.

exit strategy next morning after death. Sarah texted the cell and asked them to meet her at the morgue. They, naturally, thought she was dead. Sarah tried to explain the deal she made with her geist, but is hazy and new enough that she doesn't know how to explain. Abe accused her of being another monster. Dave and John (Jack did not come) started arguing with Abe that this was not about him; Sarah had been murdered. Sarah, who'd been worried about Abe's reaction more than anyone else's, lost her temper and punched him in the gut. She *thought* she'd shocked him enough to listen. Unfortunately, Abe and John got into it. Abe ranted how he had fought a vampire for her while the others stood by. Sarah was shocked (and a little touched). Before she could react, Abe lost it entirely and pulled his firearm and shoved it in John's face. John, also angry, egged him on, telling Abe to shoot him. Bang. Silver blood everywhere. John ( curiously enough, human except for the blood) and brains splattered against the wall. Sarah goes into triage (and Captain) mode and starts barking orders as she (after ensuring John is dead) shoves john into a cold locker (unknown whether it was already occupied) and gets on the horn to security, saying the detective, short on sleep, and startled, accidentally discharged his weapon. She stuck to her story when "Joey" the security guard came into check. Meanwhile, Abe had gone out in the hall and puked. Sarah asked Dave to keep with him and keep him calm. Dave asked for water for Abe. Abe shook him off and walked out. Sarah doesn't know whether to get bloody drunk or punch a wall. She's horrified John was murdered in front of her and half afraid she'll see his ghost. She also doesn't want to lose Abe as part of the group since she knew him professionally (her as an M.E. and Abe as a detective) and feels she knows him best. Only now she's worried he'll come gunning for her, too. We adjourned early since Jack's player wasn't there.

At the Renown Abe Willpowered his way past a mind whammy to get inside. Jack and Dave came in with him. No sign of John. The men are taken to a back office/lounge. Jack discovered some books on Knights Templar and other academics and historic books. Book talks about systemic ways on how to reach or manipulate "supurnal realm" Foley walks in and tries to prepare the team for what they're about to see. Dave's vice raises its ugly head and he demands to see Sarah *now!* Foley essentially shrugs like, "I tried to warn you." He leads them downstairs to a concrete room. The strong smell of chlorine clings to the air. They round the corner and see Sarah's body. Her body, not her head. Abe loses it, whips out his gun and shoots at Foley. The gun jams. Abe hurls the handgun at Foley. Foley meanwhile moves like a blur towards Dave, who also pulled a weapon. Before Dave can react, Foley grapples him and removes his handgun. Jack puts his hands in the air. Foley seems almost grateful to be reminded what anger feels like. He tells the cell he did not kill Sarah, that in fact, he made a deal with Sarah. Her body was found in a nearby alley. He believes the beheading occurred after death. The group's not sure what to do. Demoralized they leave the Renown. Tomorrow they'll talk. But now they'll deal with the revelation in their own ways. Abe gets blackout drunk. Next morning, everyone receives a group text ... from Sarah. "Hey! I'm at work. We need to talk. Stop by." She has a bit of a snit exchange with Jack who wants her to leave her work and go there. She figures an M.E.'s job is harder to get away from than a T.A.'s. (true or not) Abe texts his contact in the M.E.'s office and asks if Dr. Kincaid is at work today. He's told she is. They all saw her body last night. So who is this texting? Also...has anyone spoken to John?
