Lorafiiel Envaris is one of Waterdeep's most famous inventor and artificer extraordinaire. She is a master of her craft, maintaining a tradition of elven runewriting into complex and delicate metalworking.
 
She has a prestigious apprenticeship program that only admits a few students for as long as they prove themselves worthy of learning. She treats all people equally and fairly, often approaching situations with an analytical perspective that is devoid of emotional bias. However, she is quite warm and motherly once she spends a while getting to know her.
