Body Features

He stands just under 5' tall, rather typical of a Dwarf. His silvery, braided beard and his wrinkled, sun-tanned skin, betray his age.

Apparel & Accessories

Thurgramm's clothing is tattered and torn, but he keeps a wonderfully ornate dagger at his hip at all times. The dagger is a family heirloom, with a masterfully carved ivory handle and a golden sheath.

Mentality

Personal history

Thurgramm was born to Thuzmonlir Hammersmith and Kamwire Cragbender in 1054 in the Hollow Mountain. He grew up as the nephew of High King Thodir Hammersmith. He never excelled in combat, but he certainly had an eye for surveying and crafting. 
 
In 1215, Thurgramm was part of an expedition to survey the floating isle Vanderbjod for the cloud giant Gorfius. Gorfius had contracted Clan Hammersmith to survey the land for a new construction project he had planned. Thurgramm was more than excited to be part of this prestigious expedition. During the survey, Thurgramm helped map out vast networks of underground tunnels and caves and identified a number of points of entry exposed to the sky. He also helped to discover and identify several previously undiscovered species of mushrooms.
 
During the seige of Hollow Mountain in 1357, Thurgramm and Yoldrick Shatterbasher were charged with evacuating the son of the High King, Gaznick Hammersmith as well as many people as possible.

Employment

Since fleeing the Hollow Mountain, Thurgramm has held a myriad of mostly odd jobs. Sometimes he has worked as a repairman, other times he has been fortunate enough to work as a craftsman.

Mental Trauma

Seventy years earlier, Thurgramm was forced to flee his ancestral home in the Hollow Mountain after his people were betrayed by the could giant Cortag and the resulting goblin onslaught. Since then, he has harbored a deep-seeded guilt about his perceived inability to stop the attack. He has continued to harbor feelings of hatred and animosity towards both green skins and giants.

Personality

Motivation

Thurgramm is motivated by a desire to bring what he considers justice to his people. This particular brand of justice takes the form of destroying everything his clan's betrayer, the cloud giant Crotag, holds dear.

Vices & Personality flaws

Because of the traumatic events of his past, Thurgramm is foolishly brave at times, even given his advanced years.
