Mandalorian Protector on a quest to reclaim his father's armor, and avenge his death at the hands of imperial storm troopers.

Thal was born in 14 BBY on Mandalore to former Mandalorian protectors Krad Cryllec and his wife, Iammi who had gone into hiding in the jungles along with Thal's grandfather Drenn Nast when the Empire began confiscating Mandalorian armor and weapons and enslaving the Mandalorian people, ultimately joining Fenn Shysa and his guerrillas, while simultaneously raising baby Thal as Mandalorians would normally raise a baby Mando. Iammi, did the majority of raising him from birth until he was 8 years old, teaching him about clan loyalties and such as well as basic martial combat. Once Thal turned 8, he was taken by Krad into the wilderness for basic military and survival training.
 
As Mandalorian armor had mostly been confiscated by the Empire, Thal was never given his own set when he came of age and could only expect to wait to either inherit his father's armor or until the required tools for making Mandalorian armor were reclaimed by the Guerillas (if such a day were ever to come). This did not stop Thal from taking part in raids on imperial transports with his father and other guerillas once he was deemed to be old enough. During these raids, he was able to see the Empire's oppression and brutality firsthand and developed a special hatred for Stormtroopers seeing how they brutalized his people.
 
Around 2 ABY, Thal and Krad ambushed an Imperial transport carrying weapons and munitions. The operation went bad, with Thal being severely wounded and Krad ultimately being killed while trying to protect his only son. The Stormtroopers on the transport then stripped Krad's armor from his lifeless body and left the scene, leaving Thal to die and his father's body to rot. Thal promised that this injustice would not go unanswered. He promised to avenge his father and recover the stolen armor, which had been in his family for 3 generations prior to its theft. One year later, Thal finally had his chance.
 
In 3 A.B.Y Suprema, the imperial overseer of Mandalore was finally killed and much of the stolen weapons and armor was reclaimed by it's rightful owners. Thal however, was only able to recover the torso portion of his fathers armor. Thal immedtiately took to interrogating the dying Stormtrooper who he had recovered the armor from. During the interrogation the trooper revealed that he and his accomplices had divided the armor amongst themselves to keep as a trophy, and that his other accomplices had been reassigned to other parts of the galaxy. The trooper succcumbed to his wounds before he could reveal exactly where his accomplices went and Thal was left to without any idea where to begin his search. Additionally, Thal couldn't allow himself to leave Mandalore until his home was truly free from the Empire. After another year, he could finally begin his search.
 
By 4 A.B.Y, Thal was officially a Mandalorian Protector and he had joined Fenn Shysa in bringing the fight to the Empire in other parts of the galaxy, hoping that he could find information that would lead him to the others who had killed his father and taken his armor. Finally, after 4 years of searching and interrogating captured Stormtroopers, Thal learned that those who had stolen his father's armor had joined up with imperial remnants in the Kathol Sector under Moff Kentor Sarne. Finding the rest of his father's armor there would not be easy as the Kathol Sector was virtually unknown territory.
 
Nonetheless, Thal headed to the Kathol sector and began his search on a planet called Kel'Shebbol only to find that the ones he hunted were not there, but instead scattered throughout the sector. Not having any other means of transport, Thal decided to join up with a crew led by New Republic officers, aboard a hunk of junk called the FarStar. Hoping that while on this expedition, in addition to killing as many stormtroopers as possible, and maybe aiding the crew in their mission to find Sarne, he might reclaim the rest of his fathers armor.
