A good-hearted and well-meaning young member of the Knights Templar of the Theocracy of the Pale, Shandri serves the Empire by acting as a holy protector, healer and force for good on ships of the Imperial Navy.
It has become commonplace to find members of the church of Pholtus aboard ship in these times, put there ostensibly to help protect Imperial interests from the increasing number of raids by the Hold of the Sea Princes.
Shandri is curious about other faiths and religious institutions across the Empire. She was brought up as a member of the church of Pholtus and hasn't had much experience outside the indoctrination of the Knights Templar.
Despite this, she's eager to talk about her own experiences as well as listening to others.
Steadfast and good-hearted, Shandri seems to put the good health of others above her own. She also likes to get involved in the practicalities of life on the ocean, helping to fix broken clothes or sails.
She wears her pale yellow robes of office with pride above a set of gleaming armour. Whilst at sea she tends to wear a tunic and leather leggings under her robes, keeping the armour safe in a waterproof chest.
Shandri may only be young, but she was involved in the defence of a town named Feybend when it was attacked by giants who came out of the Fearwyd Weald. When the Knights Templar saw how she helped, she was recruited as a squire. Since then she's been separated from her patron, Sir Galdowall, and asked to serve on ships as a medic.
