Christopher was the head investigator in the murder of Detective O'Connor. He was the protégé of O'Connor centuries ago and they were close friends until his death.

Greenwood first encountered Pumpkin in the interrogation rooms of the Fae Police Station where he took her statement. Later when Jaime snuck into the Police Station, he convinced Greenwood to disclose some information about the investigation. Greenwood became Meifang’s new partner as another detective took over the case. Greenwood was one of the investigating officers when Nona was attacked and told Pumpkin about what was going down. He later went and helped the Celestial Nights clear out the cemetery. The next day, Jaime came to the Police Station to tell him about the piece of flesh they found and Greenwood pulled a gun on Yamada demanding what happened. Jaime convinced him to go talk to Urrakir. Greenwood continued to help the party to the point where he recommended withholding evidence from Urrakir. He actually spent one of Pumpkin's last nights singing karaoke with her.
