Identifying Characteristics

Six fingered hands showing at the end of long sleeves and his forked tail jutting out from behind. His hands have one tattoo on each, saying "HELLO" and "GOODBYE". Shadow casts neither a shadow nor a reflection and gives off a smell of brimstone.

Personal history

Jarl Hilda Svendoz ruled Trantwold from the Blue Palace, the people loved her, and her power was unquestioned. Her husband Magni was a jolly man, known for his carousing where he would go out on the town with his people. These two were loved by everyone in Trantwold. However, it was Magni's jolly nature that would lead to the Svendoz Dynasty's biggest mistake.
On a night like any other, Magni was out with the townsfolk. One of his not uncommon practices was to visit a whorehouse or simply hire women for him and his compatriots. This time however, Magni was tricked; the woman he hired was no common whore. After the night, the woman reveals herself to be Glasya, Ruler of Malbolge, the sixth layer of Hell, and daughter to Asmodeus himself. Magni was shocked and scared, but ultimately thought nothing of it, not even to tell his wife.
 
The consequences would follow a few months later, when Glasya returned to the Blue Palace in her full appearance. She had returned to provide Magni with his progeny, a tiefling born to the Svendoz dynasty and born of Glasya's blood directly. Magni was paralysed with fear, Hilda paralysed with pure anger. This bastard child would threaten her rule, losing the bloodline of her forefather Sven. This meant that, although the tiefling (named Kayd) was royalty by blood and officially treated as such, including having private teaching and living with the royalty, he was never publicly acknowledged as having any relation to the royals, he was completely ostracized from the royals in every sense, including in their own home.
 
These acts caused Kayd to resent the Svendoz dynasty, but it was due to his royal blood that they had to keep him on such a short leash, otherwise he could bring serious trouble for them if Kayd were able to do everything he would want.
 
Eventually Kayd had had enough, and it was through his worship of Hyrsingord and the powers of death itself which pushed him to leave. He adopted a new persona, Shadow Glasyadoz, which highlighted his newfound necromantic powers, along with his true, more powerful lineage, the blood of Asmodeus and Glasya. He created a mask to signify this, with the mask portraying a copper-hued skeleton's skull.
 
Shadow travelled the lands, attempting to grow more and more powerful through his knowledge of the arcane, and it was this seeking for power that led to him becoming enslaved.
