Day One
After learning of his new covert operation to Granitos by water, Wizardclaws heads to the docks to prepare himself accordingly.
"I shan't be caught unprepared, especially around water," he says to Fiona.
Searching about the dock's back alleys through the morning, he finds a discarded produce crate from Beauregard's Mostly-Unperished Perishables that he appropriates for himself.
"This should do quite nicely to help us blend in," Wizardclaws devises.
"Yes, I shall be the traveling feline merchant, Prince Sellerpaw, and you shall be my wise assistant, Mera the Owl," his whiskers twitch excitedly as he puts together his cover story.
He also manages to purloin two small buoys from some krabbing cages at the harbor and one large sea rat, which he ate. "A bit briney for my taste, if I'm honest."
"But these buoys should keep our heads above water if we find ourselves in the drink. Which I'm almost certain we will!"
With a bit of magic and the help of his Tiny Servants, Wizardclaws completed his travel litter - Beauregard - a produce crate with a pillow stuffed at the bottom, mounted fishing pole with a lantern on the end, buoys on either side and is animated to carry him around on four legs.
He gives Buauregard the standing order to "Carry me around safely and keep me at least ten feet away from enemies, as best you can."
He gives Lumi the Lantern, hanging from the fishing pole, the standing order to "Keep an eye out for threats and use the Wand of Magic Missile to attack them if we're attacked." He casts Magic Mouth as a ritual on Lumi to whistle in a pitch only cats can hear when an enemy comes within 30 feet of them.
Wizardclaws then picks up his reward item, an Alchemist's Jug, and pays a visit to the University to take out an Arcane Grimoire to complete his Transmuter Stone.
He then spends the rest of the day crafting Acid Vials, replenishing his potions, and napping.
Day Two
On the second day before departing to Granitos, Wizardclaws completes his Transmuter's Stone, giving it the property of speed (+10 to movement speed).
"Kitten's play, thanks to this Grimoire! Beauregard! Come, take this stone for a while - it'll make you just as nimbly as me, and that's saying a lot."
He also adds new spells to his spellbook, recharges his Wand of Magic Missile, and crafts more Acid Vials.
"Granitos, hm! I don't imagine many Harborton cats have ever made it that far," he says to Fiona, eyes sparkling with curiosity and anticipation.
"I wonder what sort of planar anomalies we might encounter there? I hadn't given the planes much of any thought before, but these notes from Durgan Greystock are most intriguing..."
He spends the rest of the evening poring over Greystock's Notes.
Day Three
On the third day, Wizarclaws crafts more Acid Vials before going out shopping in his new litter.
First, he stops by the local alchemy shop, Puffery & Dragon, to sell the excess Acid Vials he made, earning 180 gold.
"We might not yet have tolls, but this is our start to building Cathalla!" he says, beaming at Fiona.
He then ventures to How Do You Spell It for a Wand of Web, Tiny Hat of Wizardry, and Clockwork Amulet before visiting Victorious Secret, the weapon shop, to pick up a boomerang and sack of smooth pebbles.
"Yes, I do believe we almost have everything we need for this trip, except one thing. Our luggage!"
Wizardclaws finishes his errands at Keep It Store, Keep It Safe. The owner was impressed by Wizardclaw's magical ingenuity and struck a brand ambassador deal, receiving their new Finbar line of Wizard travel storage satchels at a discount in exchange for advertising (-3 SP).
He fills Finbar with two acid vials, two alchemist’s fire, one bag of caltrops, one bag of ball bearings, a tiny bell, 20 small pebbles, two potions of healing, a Wand of Web, and a boomerang before animating it and giving it the Standing Order to "Hand out useful items to our party or throw weapons at enemies, based on my direst need, when under attack."
Finbar attaches itself to the rear for better weight distribution and to keep an eye on their backs.
Wizardclaws also casts Magic Mouth on Finbar to whistle the same high pitch as Lumi if an enemy comes within 30 feet of them.
Fully packed and armed with his foolproof cover as Prince Sellerpaw, he ventures forth to the designated meeting spot to begin their next adventure.

When it was learned Abeus had died, had no living heirs or family, and his house was being occupied by a cat, the city seized the property and liquidated the late Triviar's estate. After a heated exchange with the city magistrate, he did receive a sum of 1,000 GP, which was calculated to be more than enough for a lifetime of expenses.
