Åsmund is a person very fueled by solitude and emotion. He prefers being in the wilderness, around animals and fey, and is used to the tricky ways of the wilds. He's shy around people, incredibly so, a feature that he doesn't have around wildlife. He's quiet around those he doesn't know, and not talkative in general. A few words from him to another person mean a lot.
He's very mature, and very experienced and wise, as though he's lived for a long time, but will never share his age.
He often feels waves of strong emotion, crying or staring off in contemplation frequently. He says it's because of the burden on his shoulders that he must carry, feeling the emotion, memory and thought behind everything he comes in contact with.
He can simply pick up an object and know so much about who owned it, what it meant to them, and this can cause all sorts of feelings in him.
He's very much someone who wants to help people when he can - but not openly or publicly. Whenever going through towns or being in public, he'll often help out strangers with basic needs, or aid them without their knowledge. He watches from afar to see the happy look on their face.
