- First Knight of Obreriault - Owner of many defunct gyms around Domunz - Also has been missing since the murder of Alphanis
- Glubglar has spent the past 100 Years serving as King Alphanis's 2nd in Command (and ignoring some the King's morally dubious rituals to regain his magiks), as well as fully devoting himself to be a Paladin of Hebretault (and advancing a few Paladin Levels!).
- Despite the failures of his gym and spending most of his time attending to bureacratic duties in the King's Court, Glubglar has remained in tip top fighting shape, and is always up for a mission (especially when his elite dark ops group has an especially important task that the King can trust to no one else).
- Since Alphanis's "assassination," Glubglar has had to assume temporary command of Obreriault while the King settles into his new clone vessel (a ritual that he has done many times, but always in secret to maintain his youth, never to literally stay alive, and never when all of Terus has thought he has died), and Glubglar has no idea how Alphanis is going to reappear now without having to explain that he has been making empty shell bodies all these years to put his spirit into, and deal with the fall-out of people finding out that not only is he still a practicing Necromancer, but he has been tapping into some particularly dark, almost LICH-like stuff to maintain his rule.
- And with the Far Realm incursions, not to mention the new Genasi War in Orrocid, Keyrth's return and talk of some draconic prophecy and a blue man with a chest scar, and SPEER losing their piece of this Orrery that was supposed to stop Cthulhu...Frankly, Glubglar is a bit overwhelmed.
- So he was not at all ready when the Mindflayers attacked Obreriault, and could do nothing as they overwhelmed his forces (already spread thin as he had sent aid to try to free Magiault from the recent dragon occupation) and killed what little fighting force remained. He fled with what guards he had left to Miraxalim, being dragged away as he would rather "go down with the ship" than leave and let the remaining people be subjugated and turned into Illithids.
- So he was angry and ready when Alphanis put out the call for the DEATH JOINTS to get together and go find the Black Tear, and see if maybe with their combined might, they might find a way to save Terus...
