Miss Longclaw hails from the Kingdom of Albia. A headstrong and kindhearted middle-aged Tabaxi with a determination to do well by others. She practices as a cleric of Terminus as a patron of the grave domain.
Lyla is an intelligent woman with a desire to protect the natural order of the world. She is kind-hearted, and empathetic. She grew up as the one of the primary caregivers to her younger siblings and her mother. Lyla was unable to leave home untill the age of 34 when she decided to pledge herself to Terminus. She can therefore be percieved as naive- despite her age, and is still on a journey to find herself.
Her mother Esther is physically disabled, and her father took up arms in the Albian Guard when she was 10. Lyla has a total of 21 siblings, only three older than her. Her mother had four litters. Her siblings are spread out between their home in the fishing village of Khima in North-Western Albia, with Lyla's mother, and all throughout Albia and the Allied Empires.
Lyla has a great deal of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and the Longclaw family is well known in rural Albia for its proficiency in serving King Evanius and for their fishing business which has been carried through generations.
Now, Lyla heralds souls to the afterlife, where they can rest in eternal peace.

A cross of cream fur dresses her forehead, she sees it as some kind of godly calling. Her eyes are uniquely vivid. Her gaze can appear unsettling to some.

She is overly expressive with her body language and facial expressions- can be often spotted leaping from heights with no consequence. She is an excellent swimmer and navigator. Lyla can always find her way back home.
