He was a warrior in a small village which came under attack by a hoard of monsters. He was the only survivor of this catastrophe. He was taken in by a vampire lord who specialised in magic. He was used to try and show off the powers of this lord by giving Blake magic as well. However due to Blakes condition this failed and the lord was made to be a laughing stock of vampire society. Blake banished from this land trained with his great-sword in hope of one day enacting revenge on this lord, for banishing him and causing the whole of vampire society to be against him. He is also hunting for the cause of the monster hoard, which he suspects to have something to do with vampire society and that lord. Blake will kill all vampires serving under this lord until he finally faces the lord who turned him once again.
