Nix Telnarthor was the Princess of
Halanhar, the adopted daughter of
Heleg and
Alertha Telnathor.
She was adventuring south of her homeland with the company of her older adoptive brother, the Crown-Prince
Emrys Telnarthor and her animal companions: The blinkdog Lars, and Cosmo, a black bear found in the hills around
Taldirin.
She died in 29 of Last Harvest, 1205 by a group of assassins.

Nix ties her hair in a knot above the head, adding almost 4 inches to her height.

Her red cape may billow dramatically even when there is no wind. She carries various weapons too big for her frame, such as a great sword and an orcish waraxe.

Personal history
Nix was found inside a small crib floating amidst a wreckage of a merchant vessel that crashed on the eastern shores of the North Forest by Heleg Telnathor who was leading his troops to fight an Orcish tribe that was raiding nearby dwellings.
Heleg's wife, Alertha, miscarried the day before he left. Seeing the baby gnome, Heleg thought it would appease his wife somewhat and ease her pain.
Alertha took nix in as her own daughter and named her after the famous elf warrior Nixiara the Huntress, Inspiring Nix to to become a ranger. Alertha was very protective of Nix and shielded her from the world, educating her on her own.
Nix grew up alone and as an outcast among the Moon Elves, who treated her as an outsider despite her family being of royal decent, calling her "the not-gnome." Instead of socializing she instead spent most of her time in the wilds with Nathaniel, the only son of a local hunter. Spending time with animals, Nix discovered she can speak with critters and small animals, an ability she thought made her the only elf capable of doing so.
Education
While being an adopted child of Clan Telnarthor leader, Nix was still not permitted to be educated as other elves, instead she was read stories of Nixiara the Huntress by her mother, Alertha.
Inspired by her mother's tales, Nix would be hunting in the woods with her only friend, Nathaniel, while her brothers where educated on court formalities between clans or on ancient rituals and tradition. Nix never learned to write or read, but had plenty of knowledge on plants and animals.
