Session 16: All roads lead down recap

General Summary

The heroes reeled after clearing the mimic den, plundered it and gained a new ally, and even did more grafting for Al. After they rested, Al led the party across the hall to another room, where he sensed foul magic. They came upon a foul ritualistic room, where angels were corrupted unwillingly by the machinations of a Devil and his consorts. After a tough battle, freeing the souls od the angels through combat, (and Al being polymorphed into a rock most of the encounter) they slew the devils forces, forcing the last of his consorts to retreat, and he himself teleported away in a fiery smoke. The second room has been conquered, but some evil has managed to evade them. Now all they need is the next crossroads fragment, and to figure out their next path..
