Book 6: Fire, Chapter 24: King's Rest Pt 2 Report

General Summary

Diving deeper into King's Rest, the party continues to find more shimmers, revealing that this was not always a tomb. In fact, the palace used to be at this location. It seemed that some point after the Majod's death, his vizier came across some immense power that allowed him to turn himself and Nevrihen into undead bound to the tomb. While fighting the vizier, however, Raine  , Nalia Dusker  and Pipp were killed. Rao  barely clung to life. Along with Corrin, the two went into the king's chambers, coming face to face with the undead Majod. After being cursed, Corrin managed to escape into the past with Rao. The duo helped Tyren confronting Nevrihen, where Corrin seemingly got the king to agree to give up the stone if there was ever a time he could not handle it.
