Book 6: Fire, Chapter 21: Again and Again Report

General Summary

The party traveled back in time again, but headed straight to the Palace to comfront Lao. During the confrontation Lao revealed that Marva Lao, Lady Carmela, Astra Smirnoff, Erina Lao and Raine were alive in this reality. He left, leaving the party to think about whether they really wanted to return to their old reality. Rao visited Carmela, and although she seemingly didn't remember him, except for one split second, she offered him a job as her apprentice. Stella visited Kali and found out the Smirnoff family was all alive and well, enjoying a normal life. Aragorn, the party's new Sorcerer Ally, meanwhile had a crises when he realized that the reality he was living in was not real.    The party reconvened and tried to figure out what to do. When Kali was eventually called, a drunk Rao mentioned that he was still sick, and told Kali to heal him, and if she did, he would leave her alone. The wish spell failed however, and Kali ended up getting sick and dying. Stella rushed to Neox to see Kali. Rossto, needing help escaping this reality, asked for her help, in exchange for saving Astra.   Lao returned and attacked Rao and Aragorn, thining they had purposefully set the destruction of reality. After Corrin, a new ally, talked Lao down, he agreed to let them leave, in exchange for rescuing Erina. The party agreed, and when given the opportunity to save one other person, Rao contacted Laurel. After a few questions, Rao opted to save Raine instead of Carmela. Corrin, using the power of the Void to traverse back to their old reality, but not before Aragorn cast Wish, and had all the paintings in his family's household transfered to this reality.
