Session XXIX: When Giants Fall

General Summary

Calico Jack managed to snatch Ymeisna Grashni from the fiery clutches of death and heaved her to the lift to be taken to safety, calling for his rifle to be sent down after her. He got what he asked for, plus three additional rangers to assist the party, who were all battling for their lives.   Horxim, Zenora, and Zaki were all brought to death's door, saved only by their companions' quick thinking and compassionate hearts.   After a nearly deadly battle, both carnivorous plants were slain, as was one of the rhino beetles; the second was finally frightened off by a particularly intense display of power from Wiinken, allowing her and Zaki to stabilize Zenora and for Calico to stabilize Horxim. The party is being helped back into the lift by the rangers, who now see the party as brave and selfless heroes for rescuing their captain.   It is the early evening of Tirdas, 2nd of Rain's Hand, Year 10,645 AOE
