Session VI: The Adventure Begins Report

General Summary

After concluding the audience with Grand Arbiter Viintaas, the party began to explore the city of Rambergam. They visited an alchemist's shop and an enchanter's, as well as a general goods store. Most things were out of the party's budget, but they were given a number of opportunities to do favors for various shopkeepers in exchange for goods before attempting to retrieve excavation mole blood for Gralgrani, the smith.   We left off with Wiinken in the enchanter's shop trying to figure out what was going on with her clockwork sparrow sending stone.   It is Shuldas, 14th of First Seed, Year 10,645 AoE, and it is sunny for the first time in 8 days.

Rewards Granted

• Three greater health potions were given to Zaki by Xir as thanks for convincing Silebreim to let her and Eli continue to harvest from their garden until the party is able to return and help Silebreim defeat whatever is polluting his river and waterfall

• Chriseli Oloren: Head priestess at the Stoneheart Chantry. She has offered to give Zaki a tour of the temple any time.
• Xir: One of the co-owners of Eli & Xir's, the alchemist's shop. She asked the party to retrieve a rare lichen from the Forests of Pando called Asarabacca. She also told the party about an angry fossergrim that keeps them from harvesting their most valuable and rare fungi. Zaki speaks to the fossergrim, Silebreim, who tells her about some polluting presence that's destroying his waterfall. He tells the party that they're too weak to face this foe right now, but if they come back after the thaw, he'll be stronger and better able to help the party defeat the foe. In the meantime, he's agreed to allow Eli & Xir to continue harvesting their ingredients, much to Xir's delight and relief.
• Yufra Hardcoat: Owner of the general goods store, Ram's Folly. The party purchased some small supplies including rock candy.
• Pydyvoc: Head enchanter at the Stonespeaker; he's trying to help Wiinken figure out what's going on with her sending stone.
• Silebreim: A fossergrim who has pleaded for the party's aid in defeating an unknown foe that is polluting his river.
